Counselors In Training & Junior Counselors

Counselors in Training Program

Camp Cormorant is proud to host Counselor- in-Training (C.I.T) camps for youth interested in someday becoming a counselor. C.I.T.s are assigned counselor mentors. They must be 15 years old, sign an agreement, and attend a brief orientation. A short training will be provided the Sunday prior to your chosen camp weeks. A two-week commitment is required – you pick which two sessions you’d like to attend. This is your interview for a future position at Camp Cormorant!

Junior Counselor Program

Previous C.I.T.s have the opportunity to become a Junior Counselor. Counselors must be at least 16 years old, attend a training, and will earn a stipend each week of camp.

Youth interested in either option must fill out an application and speak with the Camp Coordinator.
